3 Reasons You Need a Wedding Album

Mar 17, 2017

I was 10 years old, curious about the world, and fascinated with life. At least once I week I would run into my parent’s closet, pull their ginormous wedding album off the shelf, and spend hours flipping through the pages. I couldn’t believe how beautiful my mom looked and that my dad once looked like a young boy. When I pulled out their wedding album everything would come alive. I was able to see the stories that I had always heard my parents telling me about. My parent’s wedding album was and still is one of the most precious things to both them and me.

What if you had the chance to do this for your future children? What if you had the chance to do this for yourself?

In an online world, wedding albums give you and your loved ones the chance to tangibly hold one of your most precious memories.

Today I am sharing 3 reasons why wedding albums are important and an exciting announcement at the end!

1) Your first family heirloom.

In life some of our most precious possessions are links to our past. Your wedding album is not only for you, but for your future generations. I want your children to climb onto your couch, pull it off your coffee table, and marvel at the beginning of your family’s story. Your wedding album is something that your children can hold onto years down the road.

2) An album tells your story in a way that no other product can.

One day Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter will all go away. The online world changes every few years and the way we store our precious memories will no longer exist. No matter what the internet will look like in a matter of short years, no one can change the layout or structure of your wedding album. I want your precious memories to be stored and remembered in a timeless fashion. Your wedding album is your story laid out in beautiful prints, in a carefully crafted design, and intentional structure.

3) It serves as a tangible reminder.

It’s no secret that life is hard. Hard times will come and there will be days where you have to fight for your marriage. Having a wedding album allows you to sit down and remember your vows, your promises, and your love for one another. It’s important to remember that day where you promises those sacred words, “For better or for worse.” Your wedding album allows you to be reminded and to relive one of the most beautiful days of your life and the day you vowed to fight to love your best friend till death.

These reasons are the heart behind why I am so excited to launch Avery Earl Photography’s new line of wedding albums! I believe with my entire heart the importance of my couple’s having wedding albums and could not be more excited to offer this to them!
