Bohn Vow Renewal

Apr 10, 2017

17 years deep into marriage shows real lasting love.

After falling madly in love during college, Amy and Mike married in early 2000. After 3 children, becoming Christians, and Amy having a near death experience marriage is not something the Bohn family takes lightly. They know what it means to fight for marriage.

Looking back on their first wedding day in 2000, Amy and Mike still get excited about becoming man and wife. They are more in love and committed then they were 17 years age and believe in the importance and value of marriage.

There aren’t enough words to describe how Amy and Mike feel about one another. For Amy, she couldn’t be more thankful for Mike’s dedication and unending love to her. He never stopped holding her hand, even in the moments they thought she was breathing her last breaths. His love for her has never faced or diminished, but has deepened over the past 17 years of marriage.

When Amy and Mike became married they vowed to not have a marriage with an “Exit Plan.” They established early on that they were committing to one marriage for life and no matter the circumstances they would hold to the words “Till death do us part.” They have created a marriage with a foundation of unconditional love and devotion partnered with a lifetime commitment to sacrificial love.

Amy and Mike’s vow renewal was a sweet and emotion experience. It’s one thing to renew your vows, but it’s an entirely different thing to renew your wedding vows to a wife who doctors told you she wasn’t go to live. After weathering the storms of life, love, and sickness Amy and Mike have a love much deeper and stronger than they ever imaged. They believe that the purpose of marriage is to grow and foster unconditional commitment. Love grows best when two people commit to selflessly love the other till the end of their lives.
